What is ACPET ?

 

The national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students, including:

• Higher Education
• Vocational Education and Training
• English Language Courses
• Senior Secondary Studies
• Foundation Studies

The ACPET Mission is to:

 

Enhance quality, choice, innovation and diversity in Australian education and training for individual, national and global development. Work pro-actively and co-operatively with government, education and training providers, industry and community organisations, in order to ensure that vocational and higher education and training services provide choice and diversity, and well-targeted, appropriately delivered courses which are widely accessible and of high quality.

International Association of Language Centres (IALC)

 

What is IALC ?

 

The International Association of Language Centres is an award-winning association of independent language schools that teach the language of their country. Their quality is guaranteed through minimum standards, regular inspection, a code of ethics and a philosophy of continuous improvement.

 

IALC language schools are for people who want to learn the language where it is spoken at a school providing a high level of individual attention. We offer language courses plus accommodation, cultural activities and expert advice and are represented by professional study travel agencies in most countries.

 

IALC is an association, run by members with the support of a professional secretariat in Canterbury, UK. The benefits of membership are accreditation, professional exchange and promotion under the IALC label.

 

Code of Ethics:

 

All IALC language schools must respect the IALC Code of Ethics. Together with the Quality Scheme, the Code of Ethics forms the basis for the quality assurance of IALC language schools. It is based on best practice in the quality management of international language schools, from the employment of qualified teachers and provision of a structured curriculum to accurate publicity and full student support outside classes.

 

Global Work Experience Association (GWEA)
GWEA, a member association founded in 2002 as an initiative of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations, brings together organisations active in work experience to promote the sector locally, regionally and globally. GWEA sets and maintains standards of best practice and liaises with governments to encourage and support GWEA members and work experience worldwide.
GWEA's mission is to promote work experience programs throughout the world to strengthen cultural and economic ties among nations.
With over 130 members in 43 countries worldwide, GWEA actively advocates work experience on a global level. This association recognizes ACCESS Language Centre as a quality provider of work experience programs.
English Australia Member College (EAMC)
English Australia is the professional association for quality English language colleges in Australia. English Australia has strict membership criteria. The English Australia logo represents a guarantee of quality. Over 75% of international students studying English in Australia study at an English Australia member college.
