Computer Laboratories
Central College has 5 computer labs with state-of-the art computer hardware and software. Students have access to the computer labs for the purposes of study, internet research and email, while there are no classes timetabled into the rooms.
Smartboard Technology
Most Central College classrooms boast Smartboard Technology, the latest in classroom innovations to make learning easier.
Smartboards are interactive whiteboards connected to a computer and a projector. The teacher can project any digital files, such as powerpoint presentations, word documents, digital video or even websites, onto the smartboard for the class to see. The teacher can then write on the white board and save the projected information and their notes as a 'screenshot', then upload it to ISIS Study Support for students to view at a later date.
Spacious Classrooms
Central College is located in a modern spacious building occupying 3.5 floors. Each course has it's own level, with IT & Multimedia sharing.
The Basement
Located on the lower ground floor, is the Student Lounge. Kick back have a snack, play a game of table tennis, show off your musical talent on our piano, take time out in our study rooms, or just chill out with your mates.

What is ACPET ?
The national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students, including:
- Higher Education
- Vocational Education and Training
- English Language Courses
- Senior Secondary Studies
- Foundation Studies
The ACPET Mission is to:
Enhance quality, choice, innovation and diversity in Australian education and training for individual, national and global development. Work pro-actively and co-operatively with government, education and training providers, industry and community organisations, in order to ensure that vocational and higher education and training services provide choice and diversity, and well-targeted, appropriately delivered courses which are widely accessible and of high quality.
NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB)
VETAB Mission Statement:
VETAB’s mission is to foster vocational education and training of the highest possible quality and with the widest possible community access, through a firm commitment to excellence, integrity and partnership. VETAB is committed to providing the highest quality services to all our customers.
VETAB’s main functions are:
- to register training organisations;
- to accredit vocational courses;
- to approve persons to provide courses for overseas students;
- to advise the Minister, liaise with authorities (both in NSW and elsewhere) and investigate and report on matters relating to these registration, accreditation and approval functions.
These are outlined in the Vocational Education and Training Act 2005 (the VET Act). The Act replaced the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Act 1990 on 26 April 2006. These functions are supported by staff within the Quality Assurance Services Directorate of the NSW Department of Education and Training.
Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) is the national set of standards which assures nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training system. The revised version of the AQTF is effective from 1 July 2010.
