Pierwsza rata 12 070,00 AUDDługość kursu 6 m-cy<p style="text-align:justify;">This course is for people who work or who wish to work in aged care work within a residential facility or have prior experience in aged care work who want to develop their knowledge and skills in this area.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;">When you finish this course you will be able to work independently and undertake team leadership within aged care residential and centre-based services.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;">Specifically, you will learn how to assess the service needs of older people with complex needs, plan and monitor service delivery, undertake relevant administrative work, plan and conduct group activities, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures, conduct recreation programs for older people and organise an effective work environment.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;">You should be aware that if clinical placement in a public or private hospital, aged care facility or medical facility is part of this course, you may need to undergo occupational screening and be vaccinated against infectious diseases. Working in the disability sector, you may provide direct care or coordinate various agencies to deliver support services to people with disability.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>STUDY MODE</strong></p> <p style="text-align:justify;">Face to face training and one day per week industry placement</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>TRAINING LOCATION</strong></p> <p style="text-align:justify;">On campus at Sterling Business College – 65 Newcastle St Perth plus vocational placement (120 hours minimum) at an aged care and disability support provider. This is arranged by Sterling Business College.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completion of CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support,</li> <li>English proficiency – Please see Entry Requirements for further details.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>COURSE UNITS</strong></p> <p style="text-align:justify;">To achieve this qualification you will be required to successfully complete 14 units – 11 core units and 3 electives.
